Demigods, have you ever wanted to replicate the spirit of a hunter? Be one with the twin archers Apollo and Artemis? Fight monsters from a safer, longer, range? Of course, hunters and children of Apollo, feel welcome to take this class along with all of these other demigods. This week, if you haven’t noticed, we’ll be covering the class Archery, which you can take once you’ve reached Year 3!
Archery isn’t just about shooting a bow and arrow, as shown in the class. There’s just so much that goes into it- hunting, making bows, which arrows to use, different types of bows, and overall, how best to fight those monsters and survive. A bow and arrows are one of the most useful tools to appear in your demigod life. Unfortunately for you swordplayers, you can’t use a sword for everything. Remember how Percy Jackson got rid of Geryon using a bow? And how those Hunters won that Capture the Flag game using fart arrows? Archery is quite a useful skill.
The course is taught by a Hunter of Artemis, naturally. Say hello to the bow-wielding, ninja-like daughter of Hades, Gale Leonis.
Gale has a quite notable style of teaching- including lots of surprises and tricks up her sleeves, so stay alert as you walk into class each day.
WHERE: The course is taught in a variety of places, including the Archery cabin classroom, the woods, and by the lake.
Archery is quite the course, campers. And imagine all the things you can do once you’ve become skilled with a bow and arrow! What are you waiting for Half-Bloods? Step right up and take Archery!
