Hello Campers, The time has come to display the winners of the Marketing Team Writing Competition. We will continue with our third place winner.

Glistening blanketed ground greeted her eyes as she peered out the window. Her small stature meant she had to stand on her tippy toes to peer over the ledge of the window. Sun rays danced on the snowed surface. Powdered white cotton, looked as if it had overtaken the grounds. She had never seen such an occurrence before. Outside her window looked like a brand new canvas that awaited painting. It was completely white, no green in sight. Not even the hint of grass blades poked through the layer which coated it. Leaves camouflaged out of sight. Camp was a winter wonderland!

Her tiny fingers now tucked inside pink wool mittens. A forgotten gift now put to use. Her ears enclosed with yellow poofy, fuzzy earmuffs. Evlin even wore a large winter coat buckled and draped tightly around her. She couldn't contain her excitement as she swung the door of the Nemesis children's cabin open. A gust of icy wind whipped her hair back. With a great leap, she exited. Snowflakes descended tranquilly down. She was caught in awe as she watched them. With a giggle, she began to run around with her mouth open and her tongue stuck out. For some reason unknown to the girl, she had become determined to catch a snowflake on her tongue. Seeing as she was quite perplexed, what did a snowflake taste like?

Evlin laughed, fits of giggles, due to her state of happiness. Her mouth open as she looked up to the sky, which appeared as if it reflected the ground. The white fluffy clouds such a calming sight to see.

"I want a snowflake" Evlin excitedly said with her mouth open as she tried again. Though it sounded as "Eh Vawat uh so rake." While she may have attended a boarding school in New York, she had never ever seen snow before. Which was one of the many reasons she was joyous. Evlin skipped, snow crunched, her once pathed footprints submerged with snow quickly.

Evlin squealed in delight as the perfect plan formulated. She sat on the ground as she laid back, her arms flailed up and down. A snow angel! Evlin was certainly exhilarated. When the thought of hot chocolate entered her mind she screamed. The aroma of steaming hot chocolate, the heat that radiated off the mug. Evlin craved hot chocolate, the warmth in her hands. After a few more snow angels she sprung up. The idea of getting chocolate lured her to the Dining Pavilion. Snow Angel's! Catching snowflakes! Hot chocolate! The perfect way to celebrate for a snowy day.
