"I call white the most powerful non-color; it's clean, optimistic, powerful."
Hello, fellow campers and welcome to Color of the Week! How’s life been? How ya feeling? Well, however, you are feeling it’s time for this week’s color to shine. This color, or shade, whatever you want to call it, is truly special. Being all the colors of the rainbow, hello everyone sporting the amazing color of white!
In case you didn’t know white is the color of the Assistant Instructors. These wonderful people help you grade and make sure you and doing things correctly. Let’s also be honest, they help people stay in line. (I’m sorry if I ever blew something up!)
As I said before white is all the color of the rainbow, I’m not lying, look it up. Also in Greece and other ancient civilizations, white was often associated with mother’s milk. Until the 16th century, white was commonly worn by widows as a color of mourning. A white tunic was also worn by many knights, along with a red cloak, this showed they were willing to shed blood.
A few campers wearing this amazing color are Arina Oh, Blake Wolfe, and Poppy Thorn, but of course, we love all of the Assistant Instructors as they work super hard and therefore, we appreciate every last one of them! If you're prehaps interested, a couple positions are open right now!
Hope you enjoyed this article. See you next week! What do you want next week’s color to be? Bye!
