August 18th, 2023 is known as Percy Jackson's birthday as in the books it is said to be his birthday! We were so glad that we had the opportunity to celebrate this day with all of you! We asked if anyone was willing if they were up for doing a special shout out either to Percy or to the book. And we were not disappointed! out of everything in the musical --- which i adore as it was what helped me get the incentive to read the books as a kid irl ( i never understood how to like, actually read a series growing up so i always was confused, i am aware of how stupid this sounds ), i feel like good kid is like, such a raw and amazing depiction of him, it just was like my first experience connecting with the character and i'm so glad it was.
