As long as your Godly Parent is in agreement with the God of the sky there should be no issue with your form of travel. If not then going by an alternative form is necessary. Hopefully you know how to drive, as public transportation is not always the best but can be utilized if needed.
If someone noticed Romans along the highway it would likely instantly be told to the news. Thankfully mortals cannot see through the mist so they are not known. It is just an added level of security to hide the cap. As explained in The Son of Neptune there are a few ways to get into Camp Jupiter. The main way is in the Caldecott Tunnel, which is a highway that goes through the Berkeley Hills. While there are four lanes within none of them matter. The one that does is the secret middle tunnel that leads right into the camp. There is also another way into Camp Jupiter if you are up to the challenge. The Northern part of the Berekely Hills can be crossed in order to access camp. It is a treacherous way, that is really difficult if you don't have a seasoned navigator.
Training in Camp Jupiter
Surviving is no easy feat, if you were hoping to visit without work, think again! There are many different forms of training that Camp Jupiter has to offer. Often regarded as a punishment for the younger camp, this is one form of great exercise. Excavation of the trenches is great for stamina, strategy, releasing anger, as well as helping for the upcoming war games
There is also plenty of time to use many different weapons. If ever needed you could easily become certified in catapult testing. The reason being is because one of the tasks of camp is the maintance of the catapults. Another form of training as well is the Coliseum which is filled a multitude of weapons. There are the basic ones from the javelin, sword, spear, plumbata, and many more Roman Era style weapons too. Being able to know a weapon is equally as important as wielding it. There are many oppotunities to do both.
The camp is also highly disciplined as well, as handling monsters is very serious. Thus the camp might seem more similar to a military base for demigods than that of a fun place. There is also a lot of time spent doing the Roman march. It is a great way to learn precision, and accuracy among others.
