Class Debrief

Have you ever wondered which classes to take but wanted to know more? Well, here you are.  Each week we will look at a different class offered at Camp Half-Blood.

Today's class is Greek Mythology

The world of Greek Mythology is a very complicated one, especially when it comes to gods.

When I first discovered Camp Half-Blood after encountering countless monsters and obstacles on my way, one of my first questions was: “What are all these names?”

The words Nike, Aphrodite, Nemesis, Iris, Hecate floated around my head. What did they mean? I soon found out that these were gods, and I instantly wanted to know more. And then the solution came to me. Rumor had it that there was a whole class devoted to the study of these gods. And it wasn’t just all studying, there were games! Charades! Oh my!

Greek and Roman Gods sure is an awesome course. In the large part, due to its lovely instructor. The course is taught by shock-sparking, tea-sipping son of Zeus, Theodore Hawke!

Theodore does an excellent job keeping the class engaging while learning something new. However, you’ve got to wait until the third year, so in the meantime, keep taking those other classes!

The course itself covers a god/goddess or two each week. So if you cling to it for each lesson, you’ll have everything about each god covered!

Have you ever wanted to know exactly what your godly parent is like? To know all the things they didn’t tell you? Learn the juicy secrets of their pasts? The answers are held within this class, so you’d better enroll as soon as you can.

Demigods, this class is a must-take, especially if you enjoy fun games and you’d like to learn about your fellow campers’ parents (or, of course, your own). Technically speaking, we are all one big family. So why don’t we expand our horizons and learn a little bit more about each other?
