Trick or Treating Tips
Hello campers. I hope you are ready for Halloween, the best holiday EVER.
Before you have your big night out we just wanted to share with you some of our best safety tips.
- Dress for the weather, if its cold add extra layers to keep warm
- Travel in a group, dont stray from your partners
- When it gets dark, wear bright or reflective clothing, you want to be visible to cars
- Dont visit houses that dont have lights on
- If its not wrapped, dont eat it
- Stick to the sidewalks and always use the crosswalks
And we also wanted to share some tips to maximize your trick or treating adventure
- Carry a pillowcase in order to get more candy
- Be sure to wear comfortable shoes so your feet dont get sore
- Trade unwanted candies with your friends or family
- Have fun with your friends
Here are some things you can look out for while your walking around, make it into a scavenger hunt with your friends and see who can find everything first.
- A Jack-o-Lantern Pumpkin
- A colony of bats
- A witch on a broomstick
- A black cat
- A spooky scary skeleton
- Cobwebs
- A tombstone or graveyard
- A cauldron
- A full moon
- A scarecrow
