Trick or Treating Tips

 

 

Hello campers. I hope you are ready for Halloween, the best holiday EVER. 

 

Before you have your big night out we just wanted to share with you some of our best safety tips.

 

  • Dress for the weather, if its cold add extra layers to keep warm
  • Travel in a group, dont stray from your partners
  • When it gets dark, wear bright or reflective clothing, you want to be visible to cars
  • Dont visit houses that dont have lights on
  • If its not wrapped, dont eat it
  • Stick to the sidewalks and always use the crosswalks

And we also wanted to share some tips to maximize your trick or treating adventure

  • Carry a pillowcase in order to get more candy
  • Be sure to wear comfortable shoes so your feet dont get sore
  • Trade unwanted candies with your friends or family
  • Have fun with your friends 

 

 

Here are some things you can look out for while your walking around, make it into a scavenger hunt with your friends and see who can find everything first.

  • A Jack-o-Lantern Pumpkin
  • A colony of bats
  • A witch on a broomstick
  • A black cat
  • A spooky scary skeleton
  • Cobwebs
  • A tombstone or graveyard
  • A cauldron
  • A full moon
  • A scarecrow
