The Olympian Gods

The twelve Olympians are the major gods of Greek mythology who rule from Mount Olympus. In Percy Jackson, they are the parents of demigods.

The Twelve Olympians

  • Zeus – King of the Gods. God of the sky, lightning, and thunder.
  • Poseidon – God of the sea, earthquakes, and horses. Percy's father.
  • Hades – God of the Underworld. Nico di Angelo's father. (Not technically an Olympian.)
  • Athena – Goddess of wisdom and battle strategy. Annabeth's mother.
  • Ares – God of war. Aggressive and violent.
  • Apollo – God of the sun, music, poetry, and healing.
  • Artemis – Goddess of the hunt and the moon. Leader of the Hunters.
  • Aphrodite – Goddess of love and beauty.
  • Hephaestus – God of the forge and fire. Leo Valdez's father.
  • Hermes – Messenger god. God of travellers and thieves. Luke's father.
  • Demeter – Goddess of the harvest and agriculture.
  • Dionysus – God of wine. Runs Camp Half-Blood as Mr. D.
