The Olympian Gods
The twelve Olympians are the major gods of Greek mythology who rule from Mount Olympus. In Percy Jackson, they are the parents of demigods.
The Twelve Olympians
- Zeus – King of the Gods. God of the sky, lightning, and thunder.
- Poseidon – God of the sea, earthquakes, and horses. Percy's father.
- Hades – God of the Underworld. Nico di Angelo's father. (Not technically an Olympian.)
- Athena – Goddess of wisdom and battle strategy. Annabeth's mother.
- Ares – God of war. Aggressive and violent.
- Apollo – God of the sun, music, poetry, and healing.
- Artemis – Goddess of the hunt and the moon. Leader of the Hunters.
- Aphrodite – Goddess of love and beauty.
- Hephaestus – God of the forge and fire. Leo Valdez's father.
- Hermes – Messenger god. God of travellers and thieves. Luke's father.
- Demeter – Goddess of the harvest and agriculture.
- Dionysus – God of wine. Runs Camp Half-Blood as Mr. D.
